Privacy Policy for Bare Finance and AvetisInc.com

Last updated: July 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Avetis, Inc. ("Avetis," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Bare Finance Android application (the "App") or visit avetisinc.com (the "Website"). It also explains the choices and rights available to you.

1. Who We Are

Avetis, Inc. is the developer and publisher of Bare Finance.

Address: 12807 Sherman Way #1023, North Hollywood, CA 91605, United States

Privacy contact: avetistoolkits@gmail.com

Website: https://avetisinc.com

2. Privacy at a Glance

- Bare Finance does not require an account.

- Financial records and calculator inputs are stored locally on your device.

- We do not receive your transaction descriptions, transaction amounts, account balances, budgets, debts, mortgage inputs, savings inputs, net-worth entries, or calculator results.

- The App uses Google services for analytics, crash reporting, advertising, consent management, and in-app purchases.

- The currency converter downloads current exchange-rate tables from  open.er-api.com . It does not send the amount you enter or your selected currencies to that provider.

- We do not sell your financial records or use them for advertising.

3. Information Stored Only on Your Device

Bare Finance may store the following information locally on your Android device:

- income and expense transactions;

- categories, budgets, recurring-transaction settings, and monthly goals;

- mortgage, debt, savings, retirement, interest, bill-splitting, and net-worth inputs and results;

- app preferences such as display currency, theme, reminder settings, and onboarding status; and

- a locally cached indication that Google Play reports that you own the remove-ads purchase.

This information is kept in the App's private storage. Android's automatic cloud backup is disabled for Bare Finance.

You may choose to create a manual JSON backup or export information as PDF or CSV. Those files are created only at your request and are saved to a location you choose. If you use Android's share feature, the file or content is provided to the application or person you select. Their handling of the information is governed by their own privacy practices.

You can delete locally stored App information using Settings > Clear All App Data, by deleting exported or backup files, or by uninstalling the App.

4. Information Processed Through Online Services

Although financial records remain local, the App uses the following online services.

4.1 Google Analytics for Firebase

Google Analytics for Firebase helps us understand whether the App works well and which features are useful. It may process:

- an app-instance identifier and, when available, the Android advertising identifier;

- device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and approximate geographic region;

- app launches, sessions, screens viewed, and general feature interactions;

- settings choices such as theme or display currency;

- whether reminders or weekly summaries are enabled; and

- premium/free entitlement status and non-sensitive purchase-flow outcomes such as cancellation or an error code.

Our custom Analytics events do not include financial amounts, transaction descriptions, transaction categories, balances, budget values, debt or mortgage values, savings values, net-worth values, bill amounts, interest rates, or calculator results.

4.2 Firebase Crashlytics

Firebase Crashlytics helps us diagnose crashes, application-not-responding events, and technical failures. Crash reports may include stack traces, error messages, App and device identifiers, device model, operating-system and App versions, memory or storage characteristics, timestamps, and general screens or feature events leading up to a failure. We do not intentionally attach your financial records or calculator values to crash reports.

Google states that Crashlytics retains crash stack traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning deletion from live and backup systems. Additional aggregated or service data may be handled according to Google's applicable terms and retention practices.

4.3 Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform

The free version of Bare Finance displays ads through Google AdMob. Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect or receive:

- IP address, which may be used to estimate a general location;

- advertising identifiers, app-set identifiers, and related device identifiers;

- app launches, taps, ad impressions, and other interaction information; and

- diagnostic and performance information.

Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) is used to request and store advertising privacy choices where required. Depending on your region and choices, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads. Where Google requires a continuing privacy-options entry point, Bare Finance displays Settings > Privacy Choices so you can review or change your selection.

You can also reset or delete the Android advertising identifier and manage ad-personalization controls in your Android or Google settings.

4.4 Exchange Rates

When you open the currency-conversion tool and a refresh is needed, the App requests a current USD-based exchange-rate table from  open.er-api.com . The request necessarily exposes ordinary network information such as your IP address, request time, and technical request metadata to the provider. The App does not include your financial records, the amount you enter, or your selected source and destination currencies in that request. Verified rates are cached locally so the converter can continue working offline.

4.5 Google Play Billing

The optional remove-ads purchase is processed by Google Play. Google, not Avetis, receives and processes your payment method and billing information. Bare Finance receives limited product and purchase-state information needed to start, verify, and acknowledge the purchase and to enable or revoke the local premium entitlement. We do not receive your full payment-card number.

5. Website Information

When you visit the Website, the Website and its service providers may process IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, timestamps, cookie or similar identifiers, and general traffic analytics.

If you use the Website contact form, we process the information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, message, and attachments, to respond to your request and maintain appropriate business records. The Website uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms from spam and abuse; Google's Privacy Policy and Terms apply to reCAPTCHA.

You can use the Website's cookie controls and browser settings to manage non-essential cookies where available.

6. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

- to provide App features and remember local preferences;

- to provide current exchange rates;

- to process and maintain the remove-ads entitlement;

- to measure general App usage and improve features;

- to diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and maintain security and reliability;

- to display, measure, and protect advertising;

- to comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms; and

- to respond to Website enquiries and support requests.

Where applicable, our legal bases include performance of a contract or providing a requested service, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App and Website, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent for processing that requires consent. You may withdraw consent at any time for future processing, although this does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

7. When Information Is Shared

We may disclose the limited information described above to:

- Google LLC and its affiliates for Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob, UMP, Google Play Billing, and reCAPTCHA;

- ExchangeRate-API for exchange-rate requests;

- Website hosting, security, and communications providers;

- a recipient or application you select when you export or share information;

- professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, or establish or defend legal claims; and

- a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

We do not operate a data brokerage business and do not sell your locally stored financial records. Some privacy laws define disclosure for cross-context behavioral advertising as "sharing" even when no money is exchanged. Where those laws apply, you may use available Google, Android, UMP, Website, or contact methods to exercise an opt-out right.

Third-party services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Google's privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

8. Retention and Deletion

- Local App information: retained until you clear it, delete the relevant file, or uninstall the App.

- Manual backups and exports: retained wherever you save or share them until you or the recipient deletes them.

- Crashlytics: Google states that covered crash data and associated identifiers are retained for 90 days before deletion begins.

- Analytics: event-level data is retained according to the retention setting for our Google Analytics property and Google's retention rules. Aggregated reports may remain available longer.

- Advertising, consent, billing, exchange-rate, and Website service data: retained by the applicable provider according to its terms, legal obligations, and operational needs.

- Support and Website enquiries: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Because Bare Finance has no user accounts and we do not receive the locally stored financial records, we generally cannot remotely retrieve or delete those records for you. You control them using the deletion methods described above.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. Bare Finance stores financial records in Android's private application storage, disables Android automatic cloud backup, and uses HTTPS for exchange-rate and Google service communications. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Processing

Google and other service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, providers use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards. Information about Firebase processing locations and safeguards is available at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; to withdraw consent; and to complain to a data-protection authority.

You can:

- clear App information from Bare Finance Settings or Android application settings;

- delete manual backups and exported files from their saved locations;

- review advertising consent through Settings > Privacy Choices when available;

- manage or reset the Android advertising identifier and Google ad-personalization settings;

- manage Website cookies through the Website banner and browser controls; and

- contact us at avetistoolkits@gmail.com to submit a privacy request.

We may need to verify a request before acting. Certain rights are subject to exceptions under applicable law. Because the App has no accounts and Analytics information is generally pseudonymous, we may be unable to link a particular Analytics or advertising record to your identity without additional information.

California Residents

If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to Avetis and your information, you may have rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service and pricing when exercising those rights. Submit a request using the contact information above. We do not sell your locally stored financial records.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

You may have rights under applicable data-protection law, including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Avetis, Inc. is the controller for information it determines the purposes and means of processing.

12. Children's Privacy

Bare Finance and the Website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it. Additional age thresholds and protections may apply in some jurisdictions.

13. Third-Party Links

The App and Website may link to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of a third party before providing information to it.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Bare Finance, the Website, service providers, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy at https://avetisinc.com/privacy-policy and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
